AEW heads back to Queens this September!
During AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, All Elite Wrestling officially announced that day will head back to Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, for this year's edition of AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. This will also feature a taping of AEW Rampage: Grand Slam.
AEW first hosted Grand Slam from Arthur Ashe Stadium in 2021, the show featured the first-ever meeting between Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega in AEW and the Rampage taping featured CM Punk’s first match in the New York area in nearly a decade. Punk would face Powerhouse Hobbs in a match that would go on to mean a lot to the young star.
