Dave Bautista Stars In, Narrates New Trailer For 'Mortal Kombat 1'

Dave Bautista stars in the new trailer for 'Mortal Kombat 1'.

The trailer, which was released on Tuesday, August 29, first shows Bautista pushing a book cart around a library. Bautista then leans over to another person, whispering the words 'Mortal Kombat'. This seemingly ignites something else in the other person, as they stand up and repeat Bautista's words.

Various other scenes are then shown with other people also repeating Bautista's words. These scenes are narrated by Bautista, who is hyping up the possibilities that come to life when you play the game.

As of now, Bautista is not set to be a playable character in the game. Fightful will update fans if that changes. However, John Cena will eventually be a playable character in the game, as Cena's 'Peacemaker' character will be included in a future DLC pack. Furthermore, Cena will voice the character in the game.

'Mortal Kombat 1' is set to release on September 19, 2023. The game will be available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and the Nintendo Switch.
