James A. Janisse could be stepping in the ring.
The 2020s have been a great decade for celebrities getting in the ring, with names like Bad Bunny, Shaquille O'Neal, Pat McAfee, Paul Walter Hauser, Johnny Knoxville, and Big Boom! AJ all succeeding in their matches.
Now, it appears like Dead Meat's James A. Janisse could be next up, as he recently attended his first indie wrestling event. After the show, Janisse was introduced to James Angel's trainer in preparation for a possible match in the future.
“I went to a local indie wrestling show, my first ever actually, I never really hit up the indies or the local wrestling spots. It was in the loft above a rock climbing gym and I watched James Angel a.k.a James Williams perform, it was fucking awesome. After he was done, after the show, he introduced me to his trainer and so I might do a little bit of wrestling training because bucket list item is to have wrestling match. I just saw James Williams do it, he’s 40, and he was able to do it, granted he’s like fucking ripped. But, you know, maybe I still got a little bit of time left at my age to get in there and do it once or twice before it’s too late for me. I will be attempting to do that next year.” Janisse said on the most recent edition of Dead Meat's weekly livestream.
Dead Meat is one of the more popular horror movie channels on YouTube, clocking in at over 6.6 million subscribers. The channel is led by James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca.
