Finn Balor is pulling out all of the stops ahead of his showdown with Roman Reigns at WWE Extreme Rules.
On the September 10 edition of WWE SmackDown, Roman Reigns was confronted and challenged for his title by a recently returned Brock Lesnar. After initially refusing to answer, Roman addressed The Beast after causing a disqualification finish in the night's Tag Team Championship main event.
The Tribal Chief grabbed a mic and told Brock that he would smash him as soon as he was done smashing Balor. The lights then went out and a pulsing red light began to fill Madison Square Garden. The Demon Finn Balor then emerged and came face to face with Reigns. WWE would quickly confirm that The Demon would be facing Roman at Extreme Rules on September 26 for the Universal Championship.
This was the first time fans have seen the popular Balor alter-ego since June 2019 when he faced Andrade at the WWE Super Showdown in Saudi Arabia.
