NWA EmPowerrr has added another name.
At IMPACT Slammiversary, Deonna Purrazzo defeated Thunder Rosa to retain her Knockouts Championship. After the match, Mickie James made a surprise appearance and invited The Virtuosa to EmPowerrr, the all-women's PPV James is spearheading, on August 28th. Deonna perceived it as Mickie trying to steal her thunder and the two got into a physical altercation.
Tonight, James returned to the IMPACT Zone to apologize to Purrazzo and extend the invitation one last time. Deonna said she would only accept if Mickie grovelled at her feet. This brought out Gail Kim, who revealed that it was her who sent Mickie out at Slammiversary. After some more discussion about cementing her legacy, Purrazzo accepted.
