Deonna Purrazzo evens the score.
Deonna Purrazzo and Thunder Rosa kicked off the action at AEW Double or Nothing, as they clashed in a singles match on The Buy In. The two stars have been feuding in recent weeks, and Rosa previously defeated Purrazzo on the April 27 episode of AEW Rampeg.
Purrazzo and Rosa battled back and forth in a hard-fought match. They were evenly matched throughout the contest, and the momentum swung back and forth. Purrazzo took control with a Spear in the corner, but Rosa rallied. She went for a Cobra Clutch, but Purrazzo countered into a pin and clinched the three-count by holding onto the ropes.

Rosa was wearing Elvis-inspired gear as a nod to the pay-per-view being in Las Vegas.
The win marked Purrazzo's first victory on an AEW pay-per-view. She joined the company in January 2024 and lost to Toni Storm at AEW Revolution.
