- Deonna Purrazzo, via Twitter, has announced that she will make her debut in AAA Lucha Libre on July 3 against Lady Shani. Of course, she will compete in a champion versus champion match against Faby Apache at TripleMania 29

- In a recent interview with Bill Pritchard from WrestleZone, Ted DiBiase has finally addressed the story that Cody Rhodes likes to tell where DiBiase failed to kick out I will dropkick and that later accused a referee of trying to “fuck on him.” DiBiase says that while he may have said the referee tried to “fuck him” he has never used the phrase that has now become associated with this match and moment.
“Look, I’m just going to say this—that dude will say something and beat a dead horse with it. I may have said ‘he tried to f— me’,” DiBiase explained, “but I don’t know where he got the ‘he tried to f— on me’. Sorry, I’m trying not to curse in front of the kids, but look—that dude knows how to blow something up.
“I think it’s hilarious and it’s probably a shot at me, but he’d do that all of the time. He’d make something up that somebody said and scream it non-stop in the locker room, and then everybody would adopt it. So, I was pissed because I did kick out,” DiBiase stated, “and you can go back and watch it, but we had a meeting that day where [they told us] ‘The referees are going to count you out if you don’t kick out!’ I did kick out, and I don’t remember his name, but anyway, I was hot [about it]. I was pissed, I said a lot of cuss words when I came through there, but Cody can tell a story. He can fabricate one too.”
- In a recent virtual gimmick table signing with Highspots, Paul Heyman stated his true feelings on Ryback saying that he knew he would never be a star and calling the former WWE Superstar a schmuck.
- MLW National Openweight Champion Alex Hammerstone competed in the Dennis James Classic bodybuilding competition over the weekend and landed in the top 5.
- Kevin Ku and MLW have worked on a t-shirt with all profits generated from sales of the shirt going to Stop AAPI Hate.
