A chance to win the big bucks.
This past June it was announced that the current WWE Champion AJ Styles was going to be the cover athlete for this year's WWE 2K video game. During the press conference following the unveiling of AJ as the cover superstar, he announced that there would be a chance for game buyers to win $1 million simply by playing WWE 2K19 and information on that would come to the forefront as we neared closer to the October 5th release date.
Thus far former World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio and UFC Hall Of Famer Ronda Rousey have been declared pre-order bonus characters for the game. Most recently, 2K Sports has released the details about the aforementioned million dollar challenge and the new "Towers" game mode. The "towers" game mode consists of players having to select a WWE 2K19 roster member or create a character and go through a series of matches until each specific tower is beaten. Each tower is different from the other as one has to do with the tower of The Rock, or the tower of Stone Cold Steve Austin, the tower of Eddie Guerrero and so on and so forth.
The AJ Styles "Million Dollar Tower" mode in WWE 2K19 requires the PS4 or XBOX One user to beat the Styles tower mode, then provide proof that they have indeed beaten the mode and then one must record a promo about why they deserve to play AJ Styles one-on-one in 2K19. Once that is complete, the promo and proof must be submitted to the WWE 2K website and four people will be chosen and flown out to WrestleMania 35 weekend where they will compete against each other in a WWE 2K19 tournament. The winner of that mini-tournament will challenge AJ Styles in 2K19 and if he or she wins, they will receive the grand prize of $1 million dollars.
