New top contenders will be crowned.
On the August 9th episode of WWE SmackDown, The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) and DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) won tournament matches to earn the right to face each other to become the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships.
The number one contenders bout will take place on the August 16th episode of WWE SmackDown. The WWE Tag Team Titles are currently held by The Bloodline (Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa)
The Street Profits defeated A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) to advance to the finals.
The finish saw the Street Profits hit Theory with the Super Blockbuster for the victory.

In the other qualifying match, DIY defeated Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson).
The finish saw DIY hit Meet in the Middle on Prince.
