Two title matches have been confirmed for the January 29 episode of WWE Raw.
As announced on the January 22 episode of WWE Raw, Gunther will defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Kofi Kingston. Kingston has been feuding with Gunther's Imperium stablemates Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci in recent weeks. After Kingston and Woods faced the duo in a match that ended in a double count-out, Kingston challenged Gunther to defend the title against him. WWE then announced the championship match for January 29.
Plus, DIY (Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) will challenge Finn Balor and Damian Priest of the Judgment Day for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. Gargano and Ciampa have set their sights on the gold in recent weeks. They beat Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh of the Judgment Day on the January 15 episode of Raw.
