The trade is official.
On May 22 it was announced AJ Styles had been traded to WWE SmackDown for future considerations. One month later, the trade was complete when Dolph Ziggler showed up to WWE Raw to announce he and Robert Roode had been traded to the red brand.
The trade is two-for-one.

Roode hasn't been part of the empty arena shows during the COVID-19 pandemic as he remains in Canada due to the travel ban. Ziggler has been a featured part of SmackDown, largely feuding with Otis as part of the Otis and Mandy Rose storyline.
Ziggler's first order of business on Raw was to confront WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and remind them of their history and wanting what he was owed. As a fighting champion, McIntyre had no problem giving Ziggler a WWE Championship match at Extreme Rules.
