Dolph Ziggler Says He Could Phone It In And No One Would Notice

Dolph Ziggler is waiting for his peers to catch up to him.

In an interview with the All Things Wrestling radio show, Dolph Ziggler confidently discussed his accolades in WWE and amateur wrestling and told the host he no longer needs to prove himself in the ring.

WWE Files To Trademark 'RKO'

"I'm not looking to prove anything. I just do what I do and I watch everyone try to keep up with me. I could have been phoning it in the last five years and no one would have known and that sucks but it's true," said Ziggler.

Also during the interview, Ziggler talked about taking time away from WWE while he negotiated his contract and his frustrations with wrestling at the time. He also spoke about the WWE Championship match on Sunday's WWE Fastlane and he said he wants to play spoiler to everyone hoping to see Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles at Wrestlemania 34.

WWE Fastlane will feature a six-pack challenge match for the WWE Championship and competitors include the champion Styles, Ziggler, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin, and John Cena. Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for the pay-per-view.
