At WWE SummerSlam, Dominik Mysterio further solidified himself as the ultimate bad guy by turning against Rhea Ripley, costing her the WWE Women's World Championship against Liv Morgan.
Dominik sealed his relationship with Morgan with a kiss.
Speaking to Joseph Staszewski of the New York Post, Dominik looked back on his turn at WWE SummerSlam 2024.
“I am the most hated. I am the bad guy. I think I’m one of the only people, if not the only person to turn heel while already being the heel. It’s kind of just pouring more gasoline on the fire at that point. It’s just really cool. I’m just blessed for all the opportunities and I’m thankful for them. I’m just doing me. They hate me because I’m pretty," he said.
Since SummerSlam, Dominik and the new look Judgment Day of himself, Liv, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Carlito have continued to get under the skin of former members Ripley and Damian Priest.
Dominik is set to team with Morgan to take on Ripley & Priest at WWE Bash in Berlin.
