Dominik Mysterio won the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WWE WrestleMania 41, defeating Penta, Bron Breakker, and Finn Balor in a four-way match.
After the match, Dominik celebrated up the ramp and then ran back to the ring to celebrate even further with the title.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Dominik was asked if he heard from his father Rey Mysterio after the match.
"I did not, actually. Funny enough, I was doing my thing. When I ran back out to the crowd the second time and I lifted my hand up, I did a long glance and out of the corner of my eye, I saw my mom. The only thing I did was shove the title directly in her face. I'm pretty sure none of them thought I could do it. That was directly for them," he said.
Bully Ray noted that Dom's gesture sounded like an "FU" to his mother.
"It totally does. How long did it take pops to win a singles title that wasn't the cruiserweight in WWE? You gotta google it because people don't know that. Year one, I was already a tag champ. Year three, I was a singles champ in NXT. Year four, I already surpassed him as the Greatest Mysterio of All Time, winning the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania. How long did it take that man to get a WrestleMania moment? Just speaking facts," said Dom.
Rey Mysterio signed with WWE in June 2002. He won the WWE World Heavyweight Title in April 2006.
Dominik has already successfully defended his WWE IC Title, defeating Penta last Monday on WWE Raw.
