Dominik Mysterio recalls getting a text from Randy Orton.
Heading into Clash At The Castle in 2022, Dominik Mysterio was seen by many fans as a babyface that was losing momentum quickly. Things turned around at the event, as Mysterio turned on his father and joined the ranks of the Judgment Day.
Since then, 'Dirty Dom' has established himself as one of the most hated stars in all of WWE. As it turns out, Mysterio got a text from Randy Orton, another legendary heel, after turning on his father.
“I think definitely changed as my career has evolved. But in the moment, top of my mind I can think of, Randy [Orton]’s always been there, as far as texting me, even before he came back, he’d always text me. I remember when I turned on my dad, he was one of the first people to text me, like, ‘Hell yeah, enjoy the ride, kid.’" Mysterio said while speaking to The Bootleg Kev Show for a new interview.
