Tom Lawlor talks his match against Dijak.

MLW Superfight 6 will feature a number of major bouts, including a singles match between Tom Lawlor and Donovan Dijak. This match will be months in the making, as MSL turned on Lawlor back in September.

While chatting with Fightful Overbooked for a new interview, Tom Lawlor recalled punching MSL and said that he wished he had punched him harder.

"Honestly, it felt fantastic. The only issue is, he’s so bulbous, that I probably didn’t go near his organs. I wish I would have inflicted more damage. His stomach was surprisingly hard for how large he is. I’m going to have to find a different area to batter. I didn’t go to the liver because I didn’t want to kill the guy. I’m gonna put him in the ol Bas Rutten Shart Machine."

When asked if the World Titan Federation is dead, Lawlor questioned how MSL plans to market Dijak. Lawlor then went on to declare the official end of the faction.

"The logo is gone. How are you going to market that cool music and logo around Dijak? The edge lord himself. He doesn’t quite fit in with the WTF motif. I may be the last man holding up the WTF banner in the history books. Dijak’s presence kills the vibe backstage, I can tell you that much. I don’t know if him coming in killed the WTF. I think it’s just been disbanded. If it’s not, I’ll disband it right now. It’s done. Over. If not, at SuperFight 6 it will be."

Then, Lawlor was asked if his match with Dijak will be contested for the soul of the World Titan Federation faction.

"In a way. If you want to go back to the beginning, this MSL guy, the very first day that I took a bump, that I trained in a professional wrestling ring, no joke, MSL was sitting there watching me. Scouting in 2005. Almost 20 years later, I get to team back up with this guy, and I was having a great time, I was having a lot of fun hanging out with MSL. Getting to talk about the old days, some of the times on the Florida indie scene when guys would get laughed at and made fun of. Then, he had to end it all and turn his back on me. He could’ve talk to me. He could’ve sat down, like a man, man to man, and said, ‘Hey, things aren’t working out.’ Instead, he brought in Dijak, attacked me from behind. Personally, I didn’t have a problem with Dijak. He’s a bit of a tool, but now, if he’s the surrogate for MSL, then I will happily take my frustrations out on him."

Lawlor also recalled some of his previous conversations with MSL.

"‘Hey kid, you’re gonna be really good.’ Stuff like that. ‘Holy shit, what an athlete. Wow, tremendous look, could’ve been a model. Why is he wrestling?’ These are all things I remember hearing from MSL. ‘Is that a Pringle?’"

Lawlor finished off the topic by talking about being replaced by Dijak.

"I wouldn’t say I was replaced. It’s kind of like a wife or girlfriend downgrading. I remember in college, one of my ex-girlfriends was like, ‘I just don’t see a future. You’re not serious enough.’ Yeah, no shit. Then, she’s dating some surfer guy. This guy is more serious? This is kind of the same thing. MSL downgraded. I’m not upset. He just made a bad choice. If he had gotten someone arguably better. If he had gotten Kojima or Matt Riddle, then maybe I’d be a little jealous, but Dijak? Are you kidding me. I could go buy ten of his entrance jackets at Goodwill right now for 20 bucks. I’m not scared of this guy."
