Dominik Mysterio won't give them a choice.
Dominik Mysterio has become one of WWE's most detested heels since he joined The Judgment Day, and he consistently gets some of the loudest boos of the night. He has been featured on WWE Raw alongside Liv Morgan in recent months. While he won the NXT North American Championship, he has yet to win a singles title on the main roster.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Dominik Mysteriow was asked to reflect on his journey up to this point and whether he had goals that WWE didn't necessarily have for him right now.
"I never thought that I’d be at this point in my career, going into my fifth year now with the company, even though I am a 20-year veteran of the game, technically debuted in ‘05. But it’s been a crazy ride. I’ve been happy to be a part of it. Everything just kind of happened so fast. I really do think that being in the business so long, running around the ring, just being around it, I really do think I developed these little habits just from watching everybody and just how everything got picked up. I do have goals that I don’t think the WWE might have for me, but at the end of the day, I’m gonna make them make those goals for me, one way or another," Mysterio said.
When asked to elaborate on what goals he had, Dominik Mysterio made it clear that he wanted to win singles gold, and he was not sure whether that was in WWE's plans. He noted that he never really knew what WWE had planned, but at the end of the day, he wouldn't give them a choice.
"I don’t even necessarily know…it’s a machine, right. These guys are just constantly moving so fast that they don’t necessarily tell you what’s going on or what they have planned for you. For me, I want to win singles gold, and I don’t necessarily know if they have that in mind for me, especially with all this stuff going on with Liv [Morgan], and then we have JD [McDonagh], we got Carlito, we got Finn [Balor]. So honestly, I don’t know where their mind is. I just know that one way or another, our plans will align. Because they’re gonna have no choice but to put a title on me," Mysterio said.
