Don Callis wasn't long for Triplemania 31 Tijuana as Konnan had him removed from ringside as he tried to corner Vikingo for his bout against Kenny Omega.
In a post-show angle, Callis and Konosuke Takeshita attacked Omega to further their feud.
After Callis was pulled away by security from stomping Omega, a person comes in and grabs Callis by the head and neck and twists him to the ground.
Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer reports the person attacking Callis was not a work and that Callis went to San Diego for medical attention. Alvarez noted that Callis suffered a concussed eardrum, busted mouth, and ankle and neck injuries.
