After the bout, El Desperado made his return, issuing a challenge to DOUKI for the title at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19.
DOUKI said he would show the best in the Junior division, accepting Desperado's challenge for the Tokyo Dome.
El Desperado took the mic back, saying that after he defeats DOUKI, he will take on Hiromu Takahashi.

DOUKI defeated El Desperado to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title at NJPW New Japan Soul 2024.
DOUKI's victory over Master Wato was his fourth successful title defense.
As of now, the bout between DOUKI and El Desperado has not been made official.
