Good evening Fight Fans, and welcome to our coverage for tonight's edition of WWE Smackdown on FOX!
- Edge comes out to the ring to start the show and talks about how the Rated R Superstar and the Ultimate Opportunist has returned.
- We see Jey Uso and Daniel Bryan on a split screen backstage ahead of their Street Fight later tonight as we go to commercial.
Alpha Academy, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode vs The Mysterios & Street Profits
Dom and Dolph start the match off before Robert comes in and Rey sends him out of the ring before SP send AA out of the ring and Dom sends Dolph out of the ring before the Mysterios and Ford hit topes as we go to commercial.
Angelo takes out Chad and Dolph before Otis knocks Angelo down from the apron and tags in before whipping Angelo into the corner and Robert hits a float over suplex for two before the heels isolate Angelo. Angelo comes back with a jawbreaker and gets the hot tag to Montez after he and Otis clothesline each other before Ford drops Chad repeatedly and dropkicks Roode out of the ring and Dolph off of the apron. Montez then hits Chad with a standing moonsault for two before Robert saves Dolph from a 619 and Dom sends Dolph over the top rope on the opposite side before Chad hits a German suplex and Otis a diving headbutt to Montez for the pin and the win.
Winner: Alpha Academy, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode defeat Street Profits and the Mysterios via pinfall.
- Backstage Paul Heyman meets with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville and negotiates a clause in the contract for the street fight where Jey will not be held liable for what he does to Daniel later tonight.
- Seth Rollins comes out to the ring and we see Cesaro attacking and swinging him last week before we go back to Seth who's visibly irritated as we go to commercial.
- We come back from the break to Seth in the ring, now joined by Corey Graves, and Cesaro before Seth and Cesaro are interviewed ahead of their match at Wrestlemania.
- Backstage Carmella is in her gear as WWE Women's Tag Team champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax, and Carmella's former sommelier Reginald walk passed as we go to commercial.
Shayna Baszler (w/ Reginald & Nia Jax) vs Natalya (w/ Tamina)
The two immediately exchange before exchanging pin attempts until Natalya pins Shayna for the win in under a minute.
Winner: Natalya defeats Shayna Baszler via pinfall.
- After the match we see that Carmella was watching from backstage before Nia takes out Natalya and she and Shayna take out Natalya and Tamina before they're attacked by the Riott Squad who are dispatched by the tag champions. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke then come out and attack Shayna and Nia before Naomi and Lana come out and send Liv and Ruby out of the ring before Lana and Naomi clear the ring of Nia and Shayna. Naomi and Lana take out Mandy and Dana before Lana and Naomi are taken out by Tamina and Natalya as Shayna, Nia, and Reginald escape up the ramp as Carmella looks on.
- Backstage Billie Kay shows up and gives Carmella her resume before leaving.
- Earlier today Sami Zayn had the red carpet rolled out before he welcomed controversial social media star Logan Paul to the ThunderDome ahead of Sami's Red Carpet Premiere show up next as we go to commercial.
- We come back from the break to Sami as he comes out to the ring and premiere's the trailer for his documentary alongside special guest Logan Paul before they're interrupted by Kevin Owens who comes out of nowhere and hits Sami with a Stunner.
- Backstage Edge complains to Adam and Sonya about making his match against Roman a triple threat before telling them that he's going to be on commentary for the Street Fight later tonight.
- We come back from the break to a backstage interview with Kevin before he's attacked from behind and laid out by Sami who flees.
Carmella vs Bianca Belair
Carmella attacks Bianca when she's getting into the ring before sending her into the barricade and the steps before walking around and playing to non-existent crowd as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to the match already in progress as Carmella locks in a tarantula and kicks Bianca in the corner before tying her ponytail to the bottom rope and stomping her. Bianca comes back with a clothesline and a back elbow into a leg lariat before hitting Carmella with clubbing blows before missing a hand spring moonsault before Carmella covers her for two. Bianca then pins Carmella for the win with the KOD.
Winner: Bianca Belair defeats Carmella via pinfall.
- After the match Sasha Banks goes to attack Bianca before she backs off and they exchange words.
- In the locker room Roman is talking to Jey ahead of his street fight against Daniel in our main event as we go to commercial.
- We get a backstage promo by Apollo ahead of his challenging for the Intercontinental title at Wrestlemania where he challenges the champion Big E to a Nigerian Drum Fight.
- Backstage Paul Heyman talks to Edge about how he would benefit from Daniel not making it to the triple threat at Wrestlemania before Edge comes out to join on commentary.
Street Fight Match
Daniel Bryan vs Jey Uso
Jey and DB brawl at ringside before Jey yells at Edge at ringside and tosses DB into the ring before grabbing a chair and DB hits a baseball slide that knocks Jey off of the apron before he hits a suicide dive into the chair. Back in the ring Jey hits DB with the chair before putting the leg of DB in a chair before missing a diving splash onto the chair and DB sends him rolling out of the ring with chair shots. The Universal champion, The Head of the Table Roman Reigns and Paul then come out to the stage as Paul wheels Roman's chair out and Roman has a seat on the top of the ramp as we go to commercial.
We come back to Jey sending DB into a chair wedged in the corner before grabbing a chain out from a toolbox that's underneath the ring before bringing it inside and wrapping it around his fist before nearly knocking DB out. Jey hits a diving splash for a near fall before smashing his face into the steps and DB counters a suplex off of the steps before suplexing Jey onto the floor. DB hits Jey with a chair and smashes his face into the announce table before tossing him back inside and hitting a missile dropkick before dropping Jey with kicks as Roman looks on. DB then drops Jey with a roundhouse kick before grabbing the chain and elbowing Jey in the side of the head before locking in a cross face for the tap and the win.
Winner: Daniel Bryan defeats Jey Uso via submission.
- Immediately after the match DB gets out of the ring and hits Edge with a running dropkick before sending him into the post and taking out Roman on the ramp before locking in a submission until Roman is unconscious. Daniel then gets back into the ring and celebrates with both of his opponents at Wrestlemania on the ground as we go off the air.
