Drew McIntyre Recalls Phone Call With Batista That Led To His Role In 'The Killer's Game'

Drew McIntyre reflects on being cast in The Killer's Game.

Earlier this month, a trailer for "The Killer's Game" dropped featuring Batista. However, he is not the only wrestler that will feature in that movie, as Drew McIntyre was also cast as an assasin in the movie. With a plot surrounding Batista's character going on the run from fellow assasins, it's safe to say we will see the two men clash on screen when the movie releases in September.

While speaking to Gerry Rushe of Irish Wrestling and Entertainment ahead of WWE Clash At The Castle, McIntyre reflected on how he got the role in the movie.

"Dave called me, asked me if I wanted to be part of it. He had a conversation with the director about a couple of characters, who are hitmen, they needed someone who looked like they could physically take on Dave, that is Scottish and sometimes unintelligent when he talks with a bit of a comedic side and Dave says 'I know that guy he actually exists, he's called Drew'."

The film is scheduled to release on September 13, 2024.

Drew McIntyre quit WWE on this week's edition of Monday Night RAW. To read more about that, you can find it here.
