On the September 3rd episode of NXT, Ridge Holland was in the Chase U classroom, promising to destroy Chase U.
Ridge said that Chase U gave him a sense of belonging and put Mr. Chase in the hospital because they failed. Ridge & Chase lost the NXT Tag Team Titles to Nathan Frazer & Axiom at NXT No Mercy.
After the match, Ridge turned on Chase U by attacking Riley Osborne and Duke Hudson before hitting an impaler DDT on Andre Chase, sending him out of the arena on a stretcher. Thea Hail could do nothing but watch in shock and horror.
Ridge said on Tuesday that NXT will get the man that he tried so hard not to be.
Taking to social media, Duke said that Mr. Chase is still in the hospital, and that he'd be coming for revenge against Ridge on the September 10th episode of NXT.

It was later confirmed that Ridge would face Duke on the September 10th episode of NXT.
