Dustin Rhodes Teases His Interest In Bringing Back The King Of The Road Match

Dustin Rhodes wants to bring back the King of the Road match.

ROH World Tag Team Champion Dustin Rhodes was involved in one of the most infamous matches in WCW history. At WCW Uncensored 1995, he faced Blacktop Bully in the King of the Road match, which took place in the trailer of Bully's 18-wheeler truck. Rhodes and Bully wound up getting fired for blading during the match, and it has lived in infamy ever since.

In a post on Twitter/X, Dustin Rhodes questioned whether the King of the Road match should be brought back AEW-style, and he shared pictures from the match.

One fan responded by saying they should keep Jon Moxley and Spike, Cope's spiked bat, out of the truck. Rhodes replied by saying that he would want to do the match with Moxley.

As of this writing, there is no word on whether AEW will bring back the King of the Road match.

Rhodes has also expressed his interest in having a Hollywood Backlot Brawl-ish match. Check out his comments here.
