EC3 got a little more screen time than usual on Monday's Raw, but it came with a price.
The former TNA World Champion has had at least one highlight during his WWE run -- a win over Dean Ambrose, that may or may not have contributed to him not being used as much. Aside from that, he's a regular in the pursuit of the 24/7 Title weekly. However, Monday saw him in the role of referee.
Baron Corbin announced EC3 as Sunday's special guest referee for his match with Seth Rollins. This prompted Rollins to attack EC3 with a chair. New Day would prop up EC3's lifeless body to the amusement of the crowd to help book a six-man tag match. The crowd also supplied "EC3" chants.
A day later, EC3 responded in depressing fashion.

EC3 has primarily appeared on Main Event in recent months, and things haven't quite went his way, though he does have a great measure of success against No Way Jose. His last match on Raw was the aforementioned series with Ambrose.
