Eddie Edwards' Impact Wrestling Return Update; Facing Jeremiah Crane

Josh Matthews announces a match for WrestleCon.

On a teleconference, Josh Matthews said Eddie Edwards will recover fully and will seek his revenge on Sami Callihan when he comes back. Then right before leaving the call, Matthews made the announcement that Edwards would be facing Callihan in a I Quit match at WrestleCon.

The last time Callihan and Edwards were in the ring together, there was an incident where Callihan inadvertently hit Edwards in the face with a baseball bat.

At WrestleCon, Impact Wrestling will be co-promoting with Lucha Underground and putting the two rosters against each other in matches. Callihan wrestles for both Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground.

When Callihan got onto the teleconference, he said he had no idea about the match and claimed he would not be wrestling for Impact Wrestling at WrestleCon. He felt disrespected that he was not told about the match and said "Impact management can kiss my ass."

Update:

Impact Wrestling announced Sami Callihan will not be at the event but his character from Lucha Underground will. On the teleconference, Callihan took time to describe the brutality of Jeremiah Crane.

Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage of Impact Wrestling each week and at WrestleCon. The WrestleCon event will be streamed live on the Impact Wrestling Twitch channel.
