Eddie Kingston doesn't understand why people like Sammy Guevara.
"The Mad King" clearly doesn't like Guevara; he threw the former TNT Champion off the cage during the Blood & Guts Match. The two stars have been engaged in a bitter feud as part of Kingston's war with Chris Jericho.
During an appearance on Highspots’ Sign-It-Live show, Kingston named several people in AEW that he doesn't like. He brought up Guevara and pointed out that the Young Bucks do his moves better.
"Who’d I bury? Punk, Bryan, and Claudio? Who else did we bury? Oh yeah, Sammy. Sammy sucks. I know people like Sammy. I don’t get it. I just don’t get it. I’m just saying, all the moves he does, the Bucks do and do ‘em better, and I don’t even like the Bucks," Kingston said.
Kingston continued by saying, "I hope he’s there Wednesday. I pray to god Sammy’s there Wednesday. I’m gonna fuck him up. You guys think this is a joke, like this is all a work, since everybody likes to use the insider terms. I don’t like that little cocksucker."
Guevara and the Jericho Appreciation Society cost Kingston the Barbed Wire Everywhere Death Match on the July 20 episode of AEW Dynamite. During the brutal battle, Jericho suffered a broken nose. More information is available here.
