Edge Set To Challenge Roman Reigns For Universal Championship At WWE Money In The Bank

A major announcement was made on Talking Smack!

On the June 25 episode of WWE SmackDown, Edge returned and attacked Roman Reigns during his State of the Universal Championship Address. This was the first time we've seen The Rated R Superstar since WrestleMania 37 when he and Daniel Bryan were stacked and pinned by The Tribal Chief.

In a Talking Smack Exclusive, it was revealed that Edge visited WWE Officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville after the show went off the air and demanded the one-on-one match with Reigns that he should have had at WrestleMania. They agreed and made the Universal Championship match official for the upcoming Money In The Bank PPV.

Seth Rollins, who, on SmackDown, also expressed his desire to face Roman, found out the news at the same time as Kayla Braxton and Pat McAfee. He fled the Talking Smack set in a hurry, intent on finding someone to talk to about the situation.
