Edge "Continues To Recover At Home" Following Randy Orton's Attack On WWE Raw In January

WWE issued a storyline update on Edge following Monday's WWE Raw.

Edge was brutally assaulted by Randy Orton in the closing segment of Raw on January 27. Orton laid out Edge with an RKO, hit him with a chair, and finished him off with a con-chair-to to end the show. Orton nearly Pillmanized the neck of Edge, but thought better of it. Edge was removed from the ring on a stretcher.

Edge has been taken to a local medical facility following an attack by Randy Orton at the conclusion of Raw, WWE.com has learned.

The WWE Hall of Famer, who returned to Raw following an in-ring comeback at the 2020 Royal Rumble event, was celebrating his improbable return from retirement when Orton attacked, targeting Edge with several steel chair strikes.

On February 10, WWE posted yet another update on Edge's condition, where a family spokesperson said he is recovering at home.

Family spokesperson offers update on Edge's condition

UPDATE, Feb. 10, 2020: WWE reached out to Beth Phoenix last Wednesday at Full Sail and she offered no update at that time. When reached, a family spokesperson said, "Adam continues to recover at home but for now the family respectfully declines any further comment. They ask for everyone to please respect their privacy at this time."

Edge returned to the ring in late January at the Royal Rumble, competing in his first match since retiring in 2011 due to cervical spinal stenosis.
