WWE will be using some of the United Kingdom's best wrestlers in the upcoming tournament.
This June, WWE will be holding a United Kingdom tournament to determine the challenger for Pete Dunne's WWE United Kingdom Championship. In a video, WWE announced half of the field for the tournament. Some of the names should be familar to fans of last year's tournament.
The wrestlers include:
Zack Gibson
Joe Coffey
Jack Gallagher
Dave Mastiff
Kenny Williams
El Ligero
Joseph Conners
Amir Jordan
Most of the names announced have appeared in a WWE ring at some point and some of them took part in the tournament last year which crowned Tyler Bate as the inaugural Champion. It should be noted Coffey, Mastiff, and El Ligero were among the wrestlers reported to have been offered WWE contracts. Conners appeared in a six man tag team match on the most recent episode of 205 Live which was filmed in London.
