El Desperado has seemingly found his tag team partner for NJPW STRONG Independence Day.
After Desperado competed at GCW Tournament of Survival 8 and Cage of Survival 2, Desperado challenged Jon Moxley to a rematch. Moxley defeated Desperado at NJPW Music City Mayhem in July 2022. Moxley responded to the challenge by stating that he'd face Desperado in a tag team match. He named Homicide as his tag team partner and NJPW STRONG Independence Day as the place.
In a video NJPW posted on its YouTube and social media, Desperado approached Jun Kasai and asked him to be his partner for the match on July 4.
Just LOOK who El Desperado wants to team with him July 4 in Korakuen!
