Eric Bischoff Pays Homage To Three Minute Warning During WWE Hall Of Fame Speech

Eric Bischoff may have only had 3 minutes, but he made them count.

Eric Bischoff take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2021 on Tuesday, April 6, in a ceremony that aired live on Peacock. Wasting no time with the acknowledgments and tributes, Eric Bischoff started his speech by honoring an act that played a role in his early days as the WWE Raw GM in 2002.

Bischoff started his speech by saying, “I was told I only have 3 minutes. Wait a minute, did I just hear myself say 3 minutes?” This was a tribute to Rosey and Jamal, 3-Minute Warning, the tag team of Samoans that Eric Bischoff used early on as his heavies when he first became the Monday Night Raw GM.

Bischoff would use the two Samoans to quickly wrap up and attack acts that he did not approve of. This was perhaps most famously done during the commitment ceremony of Billy and Chuck in the Autumn of 2002.

Unfortunately, both Rosey, brother of Roman Reigns and Jamal, later known as Umaga, have since passed away and Eric Bischoff acknowledged this by pointing to the sky after making the reference.

The rest of Eric's speech spoke about his journey and the unlikely nature of it all before he thanked the audience for making it all possible.

Also during last night's speeches, Nikki Bella would thank John Cena for all that he had taught her about wrestling. You can read more about that at this link.
