Eric Young In Discussions Regarding Show On NHL Network, Says He Has Same Toolbox As The Rock

Eric Young has only wrestled a handful of times on WWE television over the past year, largely working house shows or on WWE Main Event. But that doesn't mean Young hasn't been busy elsewhere.

Young co-hosts The Athletic's fantasy hockey podcast, Four Stacked Lines and he revealed on The Full 60 podcast that he is in discussions with NHL Network regarding a potential show. Young is a massive hockey fan who has made guest appearances on NHL Network in the past.

"With pro wrestling, the secret is starting to get out," Young said in regards to wrestlers transcending the sport and finding success elsewhere. "Dwayne Johnson [The Rock] is the biggest star in the world. Not just the biggest ex-pro wrestler. He's the number one box office draw in the world. He came from pro wrestling. If you ask him, he'll tell you, he learned from (pro wrestling). His toolbox is similar to mine. Obviously, he's taller, way better looking, cooler and better at everything than I am. But I have the same toolbox and a lot of wrestlers do. I refuse to be out-worked and I love to experience as much as possible. I won't say no to anything."

Young previously had a fishing show on Animal Planet and revealed he shot a pilot episode for Travel Channel that will never be seen because Discovery bought the Travel Channel.
