Baron Black talks about his time in AEW.
During the pandemic, many independent wrestling superstars formed a relationship with AEW by consistently competing in Jacksonville as part of AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation. One of those names was Baron Black. Now, he's talking about his experience and the relationships he built during his time as an extra.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, Black spoke about the trust he built with everyone in Jacksonville during his time with AEW and even said that he was in Miami for Road Rager and was part of one of the first matches when proper touring returned.
"There's a certain trust level there and I'm very comfortable with everybody there. Everybody is friendly. We've been in Jacksonville together for almost over a year, so you get to know everybody, get comfortable, and make friends. There is a certain trust level they have there and I developed a lot of good relationships. I was more than ecstatic when we first went on the road and I was right there in Miami and I was one of the first matches when crowds came back. Our relationship is really good."
Now, Baron Black is focused on TERMINUS: Modern Age Grappling. You can read more about how the promotion came together from both Baron and Jonathan Gresham at this link.
