Bayley, who is often praised for helping carry the company during the pandemic era, was forced to miss the event due to a minor injury. By the time she returned from injury, WWE was back in the ThunderDome without any fans.

Bayley then suffered another injury, as she torn her ACL just weeks before WWE was set to begin hosting live events in front of crowds again.

In a new interview with Fightful, Bayley reflected on missing WrestleMania and how the whole situation made her angry inside.

"So, let’s just start there. That was the stinger that really messed me up. After everything I’d done, I didn’t get to wrestle at WrestleMania. So that was the one time we were in front of fans, and then we were back in front of screens, then they put me back on and then I got hurt. So I was boiling inside for the longest time while I was injured. That’s why I knew I needed to bring in some reinforcements, to make sure that that would never happen again. Dakota and Iyo, I love you."

Dakota Kai is currently out of action due to injury. IYO SKY is the current holder of the Women's Money In The Bank briefcase.

Elsewhere in the interview, Bayley went into detail about being praised for her work during the pandemic era. Fans can learn more here.
