Charlotte Flair Feels Like She's Now Just Getting Into The Swing Of Things

Charlotte Flair is the most decorated female superstar in WWE history as a 14-time women's champion.

Ric Flair is famously touted as a 16-time world champion and most fans suspect his daughter is on her way to breaking that record. Ric has often stated his support for Charlotte in breaking his record.

With seemingly very little left to accomplish for Charlotte, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful asked her ahead of WrestleMania 39 if she did have any future goals.

"I’d like to break the record. It’s not something...I guess now I actively think about it because it’s such a hot topic. ‘Oh, she’s going to get to 16.’ What people don’t realize is that when I started in WWE, that’s when I started wrestling. Now, I just feel like I’m getting into the swing of things and enjoying the audience on live events and not being in my head or questioning every move and mistake. It’s just getting better and never being complacent. I don’t have ‘this is what I need to do,’ because I feel sometimes the best things are when they are unexpected and wrestling was unexpected and it’s been the best thing," she said.

Winning her 14th women's championship was also unexpected as Charlotte showed up to the venue thinking she was just going to make a return, not wrestle.

Charlotte is scheduled to defend her WWE SmackDown Women's Championship against Rhea Ripley on night one of WrestleMania 39.
