Chelsea Green took inspiration from a certain someone.
Since winning the WWE Women's United States Championship, Chelsea Green has stuck to her guns when it comes to her USA themed gimmick, even releasing some Statue Of Liberty themed merchandise.
As it turns out, Green is now admitting that she might have taken inspiration from her husband, Zachary Ryder.
"I may have taken a little inspiration off of a one Zachary Ryder." Green said when asked about the merchandise in a new interview with Fightful.
Green then recalled Ryder's big title win at WrestleMania 32.
"He was cute. He was cute, I saw him climb to the top of the ladder and get that IC title. Yes, his dad got in the ring, so it was cute. I did a little research and I saw what he did back in the day and I thought that's a great idea."
