Details Behind Natalya Re-Signing With WWE

A longtime WWE Superstar will remain a WWE Superstar.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed PWInsider's report that Natalya Neidhart has re-signed with WWE. The deal was completed in late June shortly before it expired. We noted that she was not at WWE Raw last week, but we’re told that there was already a deal in place by then. She has not been at any WWE shows since re-signing

Sapp learned that WWE started talks with Natalya in May. We’re told that Natalya was looking to make sure the outside projects that she was working on lined up with the terms of the deal. She’s been with WWE as a part of the main roster for nearly 17 years and holds numerous records.

Sources confirmed with Fightful that the deal was a multi-year contract.

Natalya had interest outside of WWE, but most companies expected her to stay with WWE. There was also interest in her husband, TJ Wilson as a producer in multiple companies. We're told that WWE learned that losing Natalya was a real possibility, and wanted to get her signed long-term before she hit the free agency period. Ultimately the two sides got a deal done before her contract expired

Fightful reached out to Natalya and WWE, but have not heard back and neither side have commented on the matter.
