Details On Ownership Of ROH Tape Library

With Ring of Honor's status in flux, many have questioned whether or not some of the assets actually belong to Sinclair.

Amid rumors that some of the tape library ownership was divided, and that part of it belonged to Cary Silkin, Fightful reached out to Silkin himself. We were told that Sinclair Broadcast Group owns the entire video library, and that it isn't divided in any way. We weren't given any details on if the library is actively for sale or if there have been any suitors for it at this point. Separately from Silkin, Fightful was told "nothing was off the table" in this sense.

Sinclair Broadcast Group itself is going through plenty, reaching multi year agreements with three pro sports teams -- the Cleveland Cavs, Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers as their regional sports networks. The company's stock is where it was roughly when the ROH decision was announced, but has dropped 15 percent in the last six months.
