Dominic Garrini: Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal) Is Very Jacked And Very Professional

Dominic Garrini looks back on facing Raj Dhesi (Jinder Mahal).

Raj Dhesi (formerly Jinder Mahal in WWE) wrestled his first match since his WWE release against Dominic Garrini at BLP Old Habits Die Screaming on July 26th. Dhesi was originally scheduled to face Kevin Ku, but Ku was sidelined with an injury. Garrini, Ku's regular tag team partner, took his place.

Appearing on In The Weeds with Jeremy Lambert & Joe Pearl, Garrini was asked about the match.

"It was very interesting. I never really had the opportunity to be somebody's first match after their 30 days was up. Very tall. Very jacked. Very professional gentleman. He had come in with a game plan. He had some some homework on me, but all the homework he had done was old homework. The first two things he asked me was, 'Do you still wear the rash guard? Do you not wear shoes still?' Neither of those things are true anymore, I've changed around a little bit. He probably structured a match a bit on an older style, and once we got cooking, it was easier to figure things out. Very professional wrestler in that regard. I think he's going to do well on the indies as much as he wants to work," said Garrini.

He continued, "He was extremely happy with how it went. I can tell he probably wanted to do a little more, he didn't know how much he had in him. He said to me this was the longest period of inactivity when it comes to wrestling that he had, maybe ever. There is more meat on the bone if we want to go back to a rematch. He agreed to that. He was happy with how it turned out and thought it was great."

Dhesi is set to compete at GCW Now And Forever against Effy.

Garrini will be part of AIW Against The World on August 1st. Fans can learn more by clicking here.
