Gunther recalls getting chopped by Penta El Zero Miedo.
WWE star Gunther has been known for his powerful chops throughout his career, even before he arrived in WWE. He has continued to chop various stars throughout his time with the company, but the powerhouse has taken some brutal chops as well.
Speaking with Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, "The Ring General" was asked to name the competitor who chopped him the hardest. He pointed to Pentagon, also known as Penta El Zero Miedo, who busted him open with a chop years ago. Gunther also noted that facing powerhouses like Sheamus and Drew McIntyre has been painful.
“That’s a good question. It hurts, everybody, it hurts me as much as it hurts everybody else. There’s no science to that. But I think, it must actually be a while ago, I actually think it was in Germany. I think back then, it was actually Pentagon. I remember that. When he pulled his glove off and then whacked me, I was split open right away. I was like, ‘What just happened?’ I didn’t see that coming. But that’s not the worst deal of it. I’ve experienced way more things where I look back and go like, ‘Oh, that hurt,’ wrestling bigger guys like Sheamus and Drew," Gunther said.
When asked to name the person he chopped the hardest, Gunther couldn't name anyone specifically. He stated that he feels like he is always effective.
