Meiko Satomura wanted one more match with Lyra Valkyria before retiring.
On April 29th, 2021, Lyra Valkyria battled Meiko Satomura for the NXT UK Women's Championship. While Lyra would come up short, it would be one of the most notable matches of her career, as she mentioned during a recent interview with Sam Roberts.
Meiko saw the interview, and responded on social media, noting she wanted one more match with Lyra before retiring.

Meiko is currently scheduled to round out her in ring career this year, retiring from full time competition. Lyra Valkyria is currently the WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion.
