MJF is in Happy Gilmore 2, in a significant role, and is back in AEW
Fightful Select has learned a little bit more about the role, which was a major one moving forward for his career. We’re told that MJF was filming throughout September, and his AEW return was nailed down by the beginning of the month. He made his way back at AEW WrestleDream to confront Daniel Garcia, and then was confronted by Adam Cole.
In addition, MJF secured a role in another movie featuring Justin Long and Ron Perlman. It looks like that project is called "Stranglehold." The film is billed as a Southern-fried siege, with shades of Dog Day Afternoon and Die Hard, which centers on Bailey (Benson), an exotic dancer with big dreams. She and her Army vet husband Tim (Lacy) are fed up with their lives of barely getting by in small-town Arkansas, so they decide to rob the strip club that employs her.
