Fightful has learned that the deal is a multi-year contract. Kwon appeared in MLW as far back as 2019, but returned on March 29. He was under contract from 2019 to 2022. The deal was done recently and Kwon was working on a show-to-show deal.

MLW says that he and AKIRA won a “Best Bout Bonus” for their Taipei Death Match on the Pit Fighters Special. We’re told that he also made a strong impression in CMLL.
