At a press conference on December 27, Omos commented on his upcoming NOAH debut. Morris was unable to attend the press conference due to travel issues, and Omos noted that if Morris didn't make it to the show for their match, he would beat Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura himself.

Omos also said that Marufuji and Sugiura were "interesting guys," but he stated that he didn't know their names.

Regarding his goals in NOAH, Omos made it clear that he wanted to make an impact. He also teased targeting more titles.

"I want to leave my mark on this country as a giant. [If I win], I'll aim for more titles," Omos said.

Furthermore, it was noted that Omos is now part of the TEAM 2000X stable alongside GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion Daga and former WWE competitor Yoshitatsu.

WWE Hall of Famer and former GHC Heavyweight Champion Keiji Muto has voiced his support for Omos and noted that he wanted to see him on NOAH. They met during WrestleMania 39 weekend in 2023.

NOAH THE NEW YEAR is available to order with English commentary on ABEMA Live.

The event will steam in USA, Korea, Thailand, and the Philippines. For all other regions, the event will be added to Wrestle Universe at a later date.
