A familiar face reappeared backstage at AEW this week.
After nearly a full year away, we're told that former NWA Women's Champion Serena Deeb was backstage at the AEW Collision tapings on Saturday, October 13.
Those that we've spoken to say they haven't seen Serena backstage at all this year, and the area isn't anywhere near where she would have just been visiting.
Deeb last competed one year ago against Hollyhood Haley J on AEW Dark in Cincinnati. Since then she's not been used on AEW TV, factored in creatively, or been backstage. However, she recently reappeared and popped up at the Cauliflower Alley Club.
She's told several others that she's been sidelined with a rough injury this year. Those we spoke to said she looked happy to be back and management also seems happy that she's there.
