Tino Sabbatelli is back in NXT, and that won't surprise much of the AEW roster.
Sabbatelli is back under a new NXT deal just months after he made a one-off All Elite Wrestling appearance. There appears to be good reason for that appearance being a one-off, as Fightful Select reported recently:
Tino Sabbatelli was back at the WWE Performance Center this past week after being released in April as a part of the WWE cutbacks. Fightful was informed last week that Sabbattelli was listed internally as being scheduled to be at the venue, but that the sheet often has errors. However, Sabbatelli did end up showing up there.
Fightful has heard that Sabbatelli was the name getting the blame for leaking AEW information months back, which Chris Jericho called out as an "NXT reject." We don't know if Sabbatelli was actually leaking information from AEW, just that he's the person often referenced by those in AEW.
Again, we should specify that we don't know if Sabbatelli actually leaked information, just that members of the AEW roster believe he did.
Sabbatelli performed as "Sabby" in a losing effort back in July on AEW Dark, where he and Brady Pierce lost to Chuck Taylor & Trent.
