Tara Zep calls her shot with Mr Nick Gage.
Nick Gage is simply put, a deathmatch legend. A prominent face on the US independent wrestling scene over the course of the past two decades, Gage has seen it all and is an inspiration to deathmatch wrestlers across the world.
While speaking to Fightful's Corey Brennan in a recent interview, Tara Zep spoke on what it would mean for her to step into the ring with Nick Gage.
"Yes. That would be everything. Cause I think like he was during the COVID cause I started training after COVID and like, I had to wait so long until everything was open to actually start training and that was like, I think it was like, I don't know, one point I was just watching one of his promos or just an interview or something. I'm like, this guy's the fucking shit. Like he, he embodies everything that I love. about everything. but like, everything. He is the main inspiration why I wanted to be a wrestler at the end of the day. Like, you know, like, I don't know. He just had something that nobody else has so that that's the reason why I'm wrestling. So that would be, like, a full circle experience if I got in the ring with him. That would be insane and it's funny, I bought I've been looking for this jersey. I don't know if you knew about when he basically died in the ring. He had that Bulls jersey, the white one, the Jordan on the back. I ended up finding one perfectly in my size recently. I have it in my closet and I'm like, if I ever wrestle Nick Gage, this is what I'm wearing. I'm not going to wear it until that freaking day. If that ever happens, otherwise that's going to be sitting in my closet for the rest of my life."
Tara is still young in her deathmatch wrestling career, only participating in a couple at this stage.
