Smackdown Live is the "billion dollar show," for Fox it would appear, but they still have 16 months of programming before they get there. That starts with the May 22, 2018 episode of Smackdown Live
Fightful.com has learned several happenings, matches, segments and more planned for the show. You can check out several notes below:
- The Miz will open the show and cut a promo before The New Day interrupt. This will lead to a backstage segment between Miz and Paige, which will then lead to Miz taking on Big E.
- Big Cass, Lana and Daniel Bryan are all seen backstage individually, with Bryan interviewed by Dasha Fuentes.
- Aiden English will give Lana a special introduction for her Money in the Bank qualifying match against Billie Kay.
- Andrade Cien Almas will win a squash match.
- Dasha Fuentes interviews Carmella backstage, and Renee Young will interview AJ Styles in the ring -- he'll be interrupted by Shinsuke Nakamura.
- A top contender match with The Usos vs. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows will take place, and Gallows will cut a promo before the match.
- Money In The Bank Qualifier: Sonya Deville vs. Naomi is up next.
- The New Day vs. The Miz & The Bar will be announced for next week's Smackdown Live.
- Samoa Joe will join commentary for the Jeff Hardy vs. Daniel Bryan MITB qualifying match.
