Syuri made Xena want to come back to STARDOM.
At STARDOM Sunshine on June 25, 2023, Syuri faced off against Xena in a singles bout. This would be Xena’s last match in STARDOM for nearly seven months, as she ended up returning to the company in January 2024.
While speaking to Fightful for a new interview, Xena reflected on the match and crying with Syuri after the contest was over.
“I think it was more often my match with [Syuri]. ‘Cause we just started crying in the ring. I was crying. I was like, ‘Don't send me back. I don't want to get back.’”
Xena went on to say that she will cry with Syuri basically anytime after they wrestle.
"[She has that art] where after we wrestle, if she touches me, we’re both crying. Like if she just like touches me with her finger, I'm crying."
