Fandango, wrestling as Johnny Curtis, was signed by WWE in 2006, joining DSW. He competed in FCW before taking part in season four of NXT with R-Truth as his mentor. He would win NXT season four.

He made his main roster debut as the Fandango character in October 2012. He would go on to defeat Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 29. In 2016, he was paired with Tyler Breeze with the duo becoming known as Breezango. They would be active members of WWE television, often involved in backstage skits, throughout their time on the main roster.

In July 2019, Fandango returned to NXT to save Breeze, reuniting the duo on the gold brand. They won the NXT Tag Team Championships in August 2020.

Fandango last wrestled on the June 15 episode of NXT, teaming with Breeze to defeat Imperium (Fabian Aichner & Marcel Barthel).
